The Hudson Companies just announced the topping out of One Clinton in Brooklyn Heights. One Clinton is a U.S. Immigration Fund (USIF) EB-5 project. The new building, topping out at 38 stories has entrances at 280 Cadman Plaza West and 1 Clinton Street. The 409-foot tower was designed by Marvel Architect. One Clinton is currently Brooklyn Heights’ tallest condo tower.

Nicholas A. Mastroianni, president of USIF said in a statement, “this is an exciting milestone for our investors. We are excited for the next phases of construction on this historical project in this beautiful Brooklyn neighborhood.”

One Clinton offers 133 condominiums and launched sales in January. Prices range from $1,227,000 for one-bedroom residences and up to $5,258,000 for four-bedroom residences.

“While the building is quickly being nicknamed the new Flatiron, we are most proud of the connection and energy it will bring to the neighborhood,” said Jonathan Marvel, the founding principal of Marvel Architects. He continued, “Brooklyn Heights is perhaps the most extraordinary neighborhood to raise a family in, and it’s where I was lucky enough to raise mine.”

One Clinton includes the redevelopment of the Brooklyn Public Library. Hudson Companies has plans for a new Brooklyn Public Library branch, spanning up three floors from the base of the building. The library will measure over 26,600 square feet with auditorium and event spaces and is expected to open in 2020. The Clinton Street side of the tower will feature a Brooklyn Roasting Company, and a café with various vendors curated by Smoragsburg, will be featured at the base of the building.
