Both towers of the XI at 76 Eleventh Avenue, a USIF EB-5 project, have topped out. HFZ Capital Group announced the anticipated milestone and hosted a topping off party earlier this month. The towers are named X and I respectively. The East tower is known as ‘X’ and topped out at 300 feet tall this month. The West Tower is called “I” and topped out at 400 feet tall last fall. The XI is a mixed-use luxury residential and commercial development, being designed by Bjarke Ingels of Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). The project features 236 luxury condominiums and the first Six Senses Hotel located in the United States.

“The XI topping out is an incredible achievement of dynamic technology and visionary engineering. We are giving the world a truly unique development that features an impressive array of residential, recreational, culture, and wellness experience that have never been available in one location,” said Ziel Feldman, Chairman and Founder of HFZ Capital Group.

The architectural team is exceptional and consists of Bjarke angels of BIG and Gabellini Sheppard Associates, Gilles & Boissier and Enzo Enea. Situated high above the High Line and neighboring the Hudson River, The XI’s towers take up a block between 17th and 18th Streets and 10th Avenues.

The highly thought out structure and twisting tower design conceptualized by Bjarke Ingels features views from all angles, as Ingels puts it: “The two towers transform and adapt to their surroundings and each other as they rise from the ground, reorienting themselves to respond to the High Line, the Hudson River and the surrounding arts district. This mutual reciprocity allows all residents from each of the towers expansive views of the city and river around them.”

I, the West tower, will consist of 140 condominiums designed by Gabellini Sheppard Associates. The Eastern X tower is home to the Six Senses resort, complete with 137 guest rooms and suites designed by Gilles & Bossier and two restaurants. Condominium owners at both towers will have access to Six Senses’ wellness club and spa, preferred seating at both restaurants, and access to services such as valet parking, room service, housekeeping and laundry service.

Douglas Elliman is handling the sales and marketing for The XI.  Douglas Elliman Real Estate is the largest brokerage in the New York Metropolitan area and the third largest residential real estate company nationwide.
