Curbed recently released a guide outlining some of New York City’s biggest projects that are renovating neighborhoods in the city. Two notable U.S. Immigration Fund EB-5 projects, Hallett’s Point and Atlantic Yards, were included in the “megaproject” list. These projects, among others, are constructing new neighborhoods and adding thousands of apartments to the city. Fresh attractions, retail, and experiences characterize these neighborhoods and continue to attract people to New York City.
Hallett’s Point is a 2.4-million-square-foot waterfront project in Astoria. The development is the future location of brand new park space, thousands of apartments, and retail, and park space. Many of the apartments are marketed below the market rate and will be home to their first residents this year.
Atlantic Yards, also known as Pacific Park, is a redevelopment project that is set to span 7 blocks, 22 acres, and 7.8 million square feet of residential, retail, restaurant, and public space. Included in the plans is a 500-foot+ residential tower, the tallest in the entire project.
