The West Hollywood Edition hotel, located at 9040 West Sunset Boulevard, in the heart of the Sunset Strip, recently announced that it is now offering public access to its exclusive rooftop pool in an effort to enhance the guest experience atop its 14th floor.
Now, patrons who wish to use the pool during the day can do so by purchasing a day pass, which includes rooftop amenities. The general public can enjoy a “daycation” and indulge in south-of-the-border-inspired cuisine at The Roof restaurant while taking in the city lights. Access to the rooftop pool is available through ResortPass. With the purchase of a cabana, visitors can enjoy the pool, champagne, sunscreen, and a personal server for the evening. A general cabana rental runs for $653 for up to two people, while a Deluxe Cabana costs $1,305. These passes are available for those who can afford a few hours of luxury after the sun sets.
Designed by renowned architect John Pawson and interior designer Ian Schrager, co-founder of Studio 54, The Edition blends sophistication with an inviting atmosphere. The hotel boasts 190 guest rooms, 48 suites, and two penthouses, but its crown jewel is its rooftop. Overlooking the glittering Los Angeles skyline, the rooftop features a pool, a lounge, and the celebrated restaurant, The Roof.
Guests can also enjoy crafted cocktails and Latin and tropical-infused drinks in a setting that merges wooden benches and lush greenery, creating an oasis of relaxation. The rooftop is not the only culinary offering at The Edition, as Ardor, the hotel’s signature restaurant, serves locally inspired California cuisine.
