Chinese Investment and EB-5 Finance Forum Held in Los Angeles

June 14, 2012 – The 2nd Chinese Investment in the US Real Estate and EB-5 Finance Forum will be held in Los Angeles, California, on Thursday, June 21, 2012. This gathering of leaders and experts in inbound Asian investments is one of the industry’s preeminent events and is specifically designed for U.S. real estate developers, brokers and agents, bankers, business and immigration attorneys, and others interested in EB-5 investments. The event will take place at Embassy Suites and last from 9 am until 4:30 pm PST.

Event Overview and Purpose

The forum is expected to focus on Chinese investors, as the demographic comprises the second-largest group of foreign US home buyers (behind Canadians), generating $7.4 billion in sales, as reported by the National Association of Realtors. Real Capital Analytics explains that buyers from China and Hong Kong spent $1.7 billion on US commercial property in 2011, over four times higher than the total investments in 2008. Furthermore, Chinese investors have contributed to 70% of the total EB-5 investment visa income in the past two years.

During the forum, experts in the field will discuss EB-5 finance and investment programs and provide a comprehensive overview of the stipulations and benefits of EB-5 funding.

Key Discussion Topics

Topics to be discussed include:

Guest speakers will include Brian Su, CEO of Artisan Business Group; Jason Lee, CEO of MasLink Group; Kevin Wright, president of Wright Johnson; and David Appel, CPA & senior partner of Marcum LLP, among others.

As the first annual event in Las Vegas proved a success, the second forum is expected to attract an even larger audience.
