Five Things To Do Inside AREA15 In Las Vegas

November 26, 2024 / Kira

Enter another world and discover the eclectic, immersive wonders of AREA15 in Las Vegas.

Opened in September of 2020, AREA15 is a massive, immersive experience that combines art, food, drinks, shopping and more. You can park, enter and explore the main building for free, with individual attractions available for separate purchase. As a local Las Vegas resident, you can enjoy discounts on most of the attractions.

Here are five things you can do at AREA15.

1. Spend hours in Omega Mart

You may have seen people post pictures and videos of this viral grocery store that’s not actually a grocery store. That’s Omega Mart from the creators of Meow Wolf. We won’t spoil anything, but make sure to allocate a couple hours to explore this massive experience and hunt for clues to uncover the story within this exhibit.

Price: $54-64/$44-$54 for locals

2. Take a ride on Liftoff

If you’re afraid of heights, this one may not be for you. However, if you’ve ever wanted to enjoy a cocktail 130 feet suspended in the sky with a 360-degree rotating view of Las Vegas, this is a great way to do it. Day or night, getting a good view of Las Vegas on this slow-moving observation tower ride is a guarantee.

Price: $20/$16 for locals

3. Have a drink at the Oddwood Bar

A center piece to the main building, you visually cannot miss the Oddwood Bar right in the middle of AREA15. You can enjoy the view from afar or sit under the literal electric forest and enjoy a craft cocktail. The 23-foot-tall Japanese maple tree has more than 5,000 LED lights that change color and pulse with mesmerizing patterns.

4. Tour Museum Fiasco

Museum Fiasco takes the concept of an infinity room to a whole new level. This complete audio-visual experience features multiple shows running throughout the day, with the option to re-enter and see more than one. If you are sensitive to loud sounds, strobing lights or fog effects, this exhibit may not be for you.

Price: $20 / $16 for locals

5. Visit Wink World

Created by one of the founders of the Blue Man Group, Wink World is a psychedelic experience. Upon entering, grab a pair of glasses and watch everything pop. You’ll start by walking down a hallway of art that leads to the first of six rooms. From there, you’ll enter into a world of color, walking from room to room and watching a timed show in each room.

Price: $18-$22 / $14-$18 for locals

These are just a handful of the attractions at this massive venue. There is also virtual reality, axe throwing, a zipline and more. Plus, there is only more to come to the ever-expanding AREA15 campus.

Coming soon, horror fans will have something to look forward to as Universal Parks and Resorts brings a permanent immersive horror experience to the AREA15 campus. From the creators of Universal Horror Nights, this exhibit will occupy 110,000 square feet of the highly anticipated expansion.

Also on the horizon is an immersive John Wick experience. AREA15 is teaming up with Lionsgate to bring fans an entertainment district based in the world of the hit movie franchise. This 12,000-square-foot attraction will include reality transcending experiences, interactive activities and a themed bar.
