Edwin John

Edwin John is the Director of Business Development for India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at U.S. Immigration Fund (USIF), operating from Mumbai. In this role he leads client outreach, investor education, and capital-raising initiatives across India, the Middle East and the U.S., with a focus on advising high-net-worth clients on the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa Program. Edwin guides investors through each stage of the EB-5 journey from initial eligibility assessment to project selection and documentation.

Before joining USIF, Edwin developed a strong foundation in real estate, private equity, and fundraising, which informs his analytical approach to evaluating EB-5 projects and regional economic impacts. He is experienced at articulating complex financial concepts in clear, client-focused terms, enabling families and individual investors to weigh risks and rewards and make confident, compliant decisions. His familiarity with EB-5 regulatory developments both before and after the RIA changes allows him to advise clients on evolving policy implications and timing considerations.

Edwin frequently represents USIF at seminars, investor forums, and private briefings across India and the UAE, tailoring presentations for diverse audiences. He cultivates strategic partnerships with immigration attorneys, broker-dealers, and wealth managers to create an integrated advisory ecosystem that supports business development and coordinated client service.

Outside of his professional life, Edwin is an ardent mixed martial arts practitioner, which he credits with sharpening discipline, focus, and resilience, qualities he brings to client work. He is also passionate about animal welfare and actively volunteers his time with family on weekends to support related causes.
