Geoff Li

Geoff Li brings over a decade of expertise in the EB-5 investment immigration sector. He has successfully raised billions of dollars in EB-5 capital, resulting in the creation of hundreds of thousands of jobs across the United States. As the Managing Partner for China at U.S. Immigration Fund (USIF), he spearheads the firm’s strategic expansion and investor engagement initiatives throughout China. He has cultivated deep, long-standing partnerships with premier immigration agencies, leading U.S. immigration attorneys, and top-tier wealth management firms. His work ensures robust support for the firm’s referral network while guiding high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) through the complexities of the EB-5 program. 

With a strong passion for cross-cultural engagement, Geoff is committed to supporting the EB-5 referral network, helping families from China achieve their U.S. immigration and investment aspirations. He plays a pivotal role in educating international investors, ensuring compliance with complex regulatory frameworks, and fostering trusted relationships with immigration agents, attorneys, and referral partners. His past strategic efforts have facilitated the successful placement of billions of dollars in EB-5 capital across more than one hundred U.S. development projects. 

Recognized for his culturally fluent communication and deep expertise in the Chinese EB-5 market, Geoff is a frequent speaker at leading international industry conferences. Since 2012, he has built one of the most expansive and productive EB-5 referral networks in China, including throughout the Reform and Integrity Act (RIA) era, providing critical support and guidance to referral partners across the region. 

Prior to USIF, Geoff held senior roles in business communications for over a decade at global institutions including Reuters, JP Morgan Chase, and Citigroup.

He holds a Master’s degree in Applied English Linguistics from the University of International Business and Economics, as well as an MBA in Finance from the Liautaud Graduate School of Business at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
