Deputy General Counsel
Jason Metula is the Deputy General Counsel at U.S. Immigration Fund (USIF). He is responsible for all legal and compliance aspects of USIF’s EB-5 business including those related to immigration, securities, and finance. He works closely with USIF’s leadership and business groups, and external advisors to manage complex compliance, legal structuring, and operational risks.
Before joining USIF, he was a Senior Legal Counsel at World Fuel Services, a Fortune 100 global fuel and payments company, advising multiple divisions on commercial, regulatory, and risk matters while supporting business growth through policy development and leading the legal aspects of key acquisitions and integrations.
Prior to that he was a Senior Legal Counsel at Dufry Group, a global travel retailer operating 1,200+ locations across 45 countries, advising senior management on a broad range of legal, strategic, and regulatory matters while leading negotiations, managing compliance and IP, supporting international expansion through joint ventures, and acting as the sole legal resource for Caribbean operations.
Jason holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Economics. He received a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
