GRAND CENTRAL RISING

EB-5 Infrastructure Project in New York, NY

New York, NY

Grand Central Rising is an EB-5 infrastructure project featuring an iconic $7 billion trophy office and hotel that will change the New York City skyline. With the highest usable real estate in the Western Hemisphere, the mixed-use tower will replace the former Grand Hyatt/Commodore Hotel and will feature modern, sustainable design and skyline views. The development sits atop one of the most powerful transit ecosystems in the U.S., offering direct access to Metro-North, Long Island Rail Road, and 5 major subway lines—making it the most connected new development in New York City.

Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan and adjacent to landmarks like Grand Central Terminal, Times Square, and the New York Public Library, this globally recognized site is a gateway of commerce, culture, and connectivity. Over 750,000 visitors pass through Grand Central daily, making this one of the most visible and accessible real estate investments in the country. This transformative EB-5 infrastructure project leverages RRIF government financing and is spearheaded by leading developer RXR in collaboration with the MTA and the Economic Development Corporation. The public-private partnership will redefine Midtown Manhattan with state-of-the-art transit improvements in connection with the MTA, next-generation office space, and an ultra-luxury hotel.

  • $550M in MTA Transit Upgrades – Including circulation enhancements and station renovations
  • Trophy Office Tower – 2.5M sq.ft., next-generation workplace designed for flexibility, wellness, and scale
  • Ultra-Luxury Hotel – 200 rooms, highest hospitality floors in the Western Hemisphere
  • Half Acre of Public Realm Space – Enhancing the pedestrian experience with open-air civic improvements
