Construction of an ambitious expansion of Area15’s campus is underway just west of the Las Vegas Strip.

The immersive art and entertainment district, which includes Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart, is raising 36-foot walls for its 20-acre expansion north along Interstate 15.

Universal Destinations & Experiences will anchor the new area with a year-round horror entertainment experience, Horror Unleashed. The expansion will also include iFLY Indoor Skydiving, featuring the latest vertical wind-tunnel technology.

“Consumers continue to gravitate toward artful new forms of entertainment providing immersive experiences, authentic connections and real emotions,” said Winston Fisher, Area15’s CEO. “The demand continues to grow, and we are ready to dive into this substantial expansion and find more partnerships that will have a lasting impact on the Area15 district and the city of Las Vegas.”

Area15 has welcomed almost 5 million guests and has hosted 200 live events and performances in its three years of operation.
