U.S. Immigration Fund Celebrates First I-829 Approval for 65 Bay Street

JUPITER, FL – April 30, 2023 – U.S. Immigration Fund (USIF) is pleased to announce that United States Citizenship Immigration Services (USCIS) has issued the first I-829 approval for its EB-5 project, 65 Bay Street, on April 5, 2023.

Form I-829 is the permanent Green Card application, and once approved, conditions are removed from the investors’ two-year conditional Green Cards, granting permanent residency and qualifying them to apply for U.S. citizenship.

“We are thrilled to receive the first I-829 approval for our 65 Bay Street project,” said Nicholas A. Mastroianni, III, President of U.S. Immigration Fund. He continued, “This I-829 approval underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality projects that meet our investors’ goals. We are excited to see these investors reaching this important milestone on their path to U.S. residency.”

The United States continues to consistently be a top choice for immigrant investors, and the EB-5 program permits qualified immigrant investors who invest $800,000 in a rural or high unemployment area to receive U.S. permanent residency for themselves as well as spouses and unmarried children under the age of 21.

U.S. Immigration Fund’s 88 Kushner-KABR, later branded as 65 Bay Street, is a mixed-use development located in Jersey City, New Jersey that overlooks the Hudson River and offers panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline. Comprised of 447 luxury rental apartments, 217 parking spaces, and approximately 4,000 square feet of retail space, the 48-floor building shares amenities with the Trump Plaza: a residence synonymous with luxury, lifestyle, and location. This project is now fully constructed and is in the process of leasing the remaining units in the building. During the development process, the project created an abundance of jobs for the Jersey City community.

This success is another significant milestone for U.S. Immigration Fund in helping its EB-5 investors reach their goal of becoming permanent United States residents. U.S. Immigration Fund’s 24 projects account for roughly 18,000 EB-5 green cards arising from approximately 6,000 investors and their families, accomplishments unmatched within the EB-5 industry.
